New snapshot is out. This one does not feature user-visible changes, but instead work was focused on updating the buildsystem and system packages.
Since now OpenInkpot is based on newly created generic-purpose embedded distribution IPlinux, which is kind of successor for Slind. Due to this change, all the packages in distrubution were rebuilt and most of them were upgraded to latest available versions.
Due to massive changes in the underlying software there may be regressions, so please test the snapshot and report any bugs encountered.

Any chance of you porting OpenInkpot to the Smart Devices Q7?
Is it worth it? It has colored fast screen and touch screen, so really lot of existing linux distros can be adapted to run on it.
OI is good for touchscreen-less e-inks. But I'm pretty sure if someone considers donating such a device to project, it will be supported eventually.
